Abstracts, Posters, and Oral presentations

Abstract preparation and submission

Please submit your abstracts together with your registration (abstract submission deadline: April 5, 2022). You can download the abstract form here.

The Abstracts will not be distributed or made public; however, printed copies will be made available during the meeting to the participants only. Importantly, the abstracts will aid the organizers in putting together the meeting program. Please note that some of the poster abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations or 4 min research flash presentations.

Poster presentations

Poster presentations will be a central part of your meeting!  Three poster sessions are scheduled in the afternoons, in addition there is plenty of time to discuss science and posters during the social get togethers after the evening sessions. Poster presenters are assigned to present in one of the three afternoon poster sessions. Please note that posters are on display throughout the whole meeting and should be mounted as early as possible. Hence, presenters are encouraged to be available to present and discuss their poster also outside their assigned poster session.

Poster format

Each poster presenter is assigned a 2.1 m high x 0.95 m wide poster board where only posters in portrait format can be mounted. Therefore, we recommend a standard DIN A0 portrait format (1190 mm high x 840 mm wide). Material to mount posters will be available onsite.

Oral Presentations

For presentations an onsite notebook is available (PC). Please bring your presentation (PPTX) on a USB flash drive and/or on your notebook (particularly recommended for Apple users). Oral presentations have the following format/duration:

  • Talk: 25 min time slot (max. 20 min presentation + 5 min discussion)
  • Short talk: 15 min time slot (max. 12 min presentation + 3 min discussion)
  • Research flash: 4 min time slot (max. 3 min presentation + 1 min discussion)
